The mini cannon is a powerful .30 caliber design, which is a 5/16" steel ball, better known as slingshot ammo that can be found in any sporting goods store such as Academy. With the new cannon being much easier to load, fire and clean it is much more impressive while keeping the size and integrity of a mini cannon. We have found the balance between size and power and feel we need to discontinue the .177 caliber and offer the .30 caliber instead. We feel that you the customer will enjoy more 'bang for the buck'. We also include a bigger ramrod to accommodate the bigger caliber and 3 steel balls to have as a starter or put next to your mini cannon when it's on display.

The cannon uses black powder and any firework fuses. There are two knobs to adjust the barrel up and down, for aiming, The carriage is aluminum and the barrel is solid stainless steel. The Mini Cannon is built and works exactly like the antique cannons of Napoleon's time or the mortars used in the American Civil War.

incredibly quick delivey; value for money!

never epected to receive the cannon so quick (I am from Netherlands) very good quality product and I had much fun with this "great" small cannon.

I had to order a second cannon here as the first supplier (Pocket Artillery) never delivered despite taking $ from my credit card.

The product arrived quicker than promised from the website (I am in New Zealand), and was very well packed.

The product was very well made, solid, and really fun to play with.

Well recommended - and if you are researching where to buy a pocket cannon - dont get ripped off with other suppliers - shop here.

Great little Cannon! Shoots good and is easy to use. Everyone love it! a good tip is you can use bread for wadding. Makes a great seal and works everytime.

A friend sent me a YouTube vid of these things. Pretty exciting from the get-go but once I got to the part with the little model ships blasting at each other broadside it instantly became one of those "take my money, NOW" type of situations. I knew I'd have to buy it quit before I talked myself out of it like I do with a lot of frivolous items on Internet, so I pulled the trigger and am extremely happy I did.!

I went to the sporting goods store and bought some pyrodex which has worked flawlessly for me. The more you cram in there the louder it gets but it's still a total riot at a level that won't bother the neighbors.

Point it vertical with just powder and a wadding to launch empty beer cans into the stratosphere. Just try getting bored with that! And the possibilities for entertainment are truly endless.

Simply put, this is the most fun you can have for this amount of money. I could go on for days about how happy I am I bought this thing but hopefully you're about to find out for yourself so ill spare you!

The best thing about this product are the people behind it. I've had such a great experience with the people and the Pocket Cannon that I have 2 now. Used it with a blank charge to start Foot Races, RC Sailboat Races and a Pie Eating Contest, lots of fun. Most fun for the money anywhere!!!

Just amazing once you learn how to really shoot it. Don't pack too hard but
1. Insert fuse
2. 15-20 grains of powder, pack it
3. 10-15 grains, pack it
4. Repeat until you pack it with wadding
5. Tighter the wadding, the louder and more powerful the shot.

It's cute alright and no doubt it's a big hit. I want to mount it on the back of a mathbox jeep so it can roll backwards during a shot instead of going tumbling backwards! Yeah it is way too powerful for it's size ;)

This cannon is so fricken cool, I got one for my dad and myself. If your on the fence about this cannon here are some pro's and cons.

I am a steampunk leatherworker. My father has one of these cannons from many ages ago, when they came in brass.. so I tinkered with it and designed something that is truly epic.

For his Steampunk outfit, I created him a bracer mount for his cannon, and because of the success, and the feedback I've gotten from others.. I bought more cannons to make more bracers.

I'm sad they don't come in brass anymore, but I love the new base design. Makes it easier to do a nice mounting on the bracer.

Personally I've found 10-15 grains of black powder to be a nice load, packs a wee bit of punch, but not so much it blows the cannon around. Sound is comparable to a .22 short, maybe even .22 subsonic.

Excellent thrilling design I added a base with match box wheels a rubber band holds the cannon to the base,so It can be removed If needed.Adds real affect when fired !!
